My Momma hen has a better hatch rate then me right now. She hatched 4 of the 5, with the 5th has a small pop so maybe when I get home she will have 5. I have 5 of the 12 that went into lockdown. It's not looking very good for me to get any more out of this hatch. Some of the air sac's were iffy. But we will see. Lock down for part of incubator 2 will be Friday. Then shin on the 16th. They I will start over with my first silkies hatch this weekend probably Sunday.
Good luck to all those still hatching. Can't wait to see more pics.

I have a questions PLEASE HELP

No disaster yet but i have been told my air cell is too big at day 14. I was advised to reduce the humidity, but someone else said that was wrong so after some research a large air cell is LACK of humidity is that right? My temps have been stable and the humidity has been between 25-40% but mostly 25-30%. I was trying the dry incubation method but my humidity was too low I thought so I added some water to keep it in this range.

What do you guy hatch at with your humidity? Today is day 16 btw.

I got chicks two of my EE/BCM hatched and the red star/BCM is working its way out. I'm so excited.

Well nothing has hatched so far, I've just about given up hope for'em. I'll give them until Friday/Sunday then out they go.

Congrats to everyone I ended up with 5 out of the 11. I have 2 Blue Mottled Duccle, 1 Black Mottled Duccle, 1 Blue Marans and one CX duccle mix. My Spitzenhauben did better she hatched 4 out of the 5, she now has the 2 from the bator. I kept the Duccle in a brooder, they won't be out with Marans. Lock down # 2 BCM and Blue and Black Marans is tomorrow.
