Thanks Aspen, his was the 3rd batch of shipped eggs and we finally have a great bunch. I only got 1 lavender from previous hatches and now we have 9 more. Let’s hope for lots of pullets

Day 19 here, still nothing...

so frustrating! This is going to be the longest weekend ever.

I usually run mine around 55-60% for the first 18 days and then I up it to 75-80% for the rest. But yours looks fine.
Mine shot up a lot this past week and won't stabilize at all. I had 3 good hatches about a day early and I then the humidity jumped up to 95% again after I took them out. I think the rest are a lost cause but we'll see. They're pushing 2 days late right now.

Well, by some miracle my chicks survived no power from Irene for days and made it through the fluctuating temps from my lil' candles I put in there to try and maintain temp.. And the humidity up and down like a rollercoaster! I have 5 hatched and several more trying!

Congrats to those who have had success also on this hatch, and condolences to those who didn't. I will say these lil' Silkies are very special to me, I still am in shock that they have made it this far, when everyone just said to throw the eggs out.. Glad I don't listen..
