Setting tonight 10/20/10...DAY 19 hatch....PICS

4 babies totally out, one is zipped but not out, and have a few others that are pipped. The first two last night must have been determined cuz they shot out at lightning speed.
I will take pictures later today and post them. I should really be outside getting some work done before the snow hits, but I for some reason am lacking the motivation.....would rather sit with my nose pressed against the incubator.

10 hatched as of right now! There is one in the group that I am hoping pulls through...kind of lifeless and not moving around much right now. There are 5 other eggs with pips in them. And 4 eggs that we are still waiting on. I promise that I will get pictures up tomorrow sometime...too much going on right now.
I am more than thrilled. I was not sure what to expect with this being my first hatch.

wait & candle at 11 days & you should be able to tell whats going on with them, about the temp going up that high, i would say they may be OK, but there's only 1 way to find out, WAITE, for only 15 min. i would say they are probably OK, if it was only 15 min. the egg probably didn't have time to get that high.

15 have hatched...14 have been moved to the brooder, one is laying on incubator floor drying off and still has part of the yolk sac attached to it's butt. Had two that pipped and died in the shell. And I still have two blue eggs in the incubator doing nothing. Not positive that they were even fertile...they were hard to candle so we just went with the assumption that they were.
This was the scene at our house last night....dinner was on the table and all kids were hovering over the incubator watching one hatch...
