awesome pic btw!

Oh no...lol...you eat them??

Candled 15 of my 41 eggs (day 8) 5 blood rings, 5 developing, 5 that appear clear... So frustrating... I know it will take a little while to get all of the kinks worked out of things but I just want some chicks :(
you will get some babies! Where are your eggs from? Local or shipped? I will tell you whats working for me, I don't turn the eggs right away. I actually waited 5 days to let them get healthy and strong and I didn't have 1 blood ring, except in 1 cracked egg. Do you turn right away? Just something to think about. Good luck with the rest of them!

I Have an automatic turner and its been on since day one, next batch I'll try not turning right away. 17 of the eggs were my own the other two dozen were from a farm about 15 miles from me, so all local.

Candled half of the 41 last night. At least six were clear so down to 35. Hard to believe only seven more days

I know! Only one more week to go! And at least lockdown is in 4 more days. Getting close. I'm going to weigh and mark air cells tonight. How are your chicks doing from you first batch?

Omg! I was handling half of the eggs tonight since lockdown will start Monday for me and I poked a hole in the egg sac side when tracing it with the pencil! Will he be okay? Should I lockdown early? Help!

How do your air cells look? What day is today? Because lockdown is today for me and I set with you, I think. You can cut a bandaid just so there is a little sticky stuff left and put the felt part over the crack. If your air cells look good, I would lockdown today.
