Setting up Brooder, help!:)

I am receiving two ducks tomorrow, I'm assuming only a few days old since they are straight from a hatchery. I set up their brooder last night with some pine shavings on the bottom and a 125w heating lamp. Are these things going to be okay? First time duck owner and I don't want to mess anything up Plus what are the thoughts about marbles in the bottom of the waterer? (they will be in the garage until old enough to be outside. Probably wont be moved outside for about 3 weeks maybe 4 weeks.)
