Its odd because you wouldn't think the design of just the styrofoam would be so bad in the LG's but I ripped all the equipment out of my lg after the rotten egg incident and put it on a styrofoam cooler i got for free from petco and its already maintaining way better temps! So you could always go that route! Petco says they just throw away all their coolers every friday from their fish shipments, just make sure its big enough to fit the turner.
