Severe Case of Worms

You dont need the sevin dust for fly strike. That is for mites in the coop or on the chicken.

Here is some info on how to care for her.
Well a bug on this site is messing with the ability to paste a hyperlink for some reason. Search for fly strike on the-chicken-chick.com

You can make your own saline solution with sodium chloride (table salt)

I bathed her and soaked her in ACV, and dried her. She's resting, not eating/drinking very much. Maybe Coccidiosis too? Fly Strike is at bay - not sure if there's anything else to do for her at this point - happy for any advice here...

Antibiotics may be helpful if you have some, such as amoxicillin. Did you get rid of all maggots? They can hatch for up to a 24 hour period I have read. It is hard to know if she has coccidiosis without a fecal test at rhe vets. There can be many causes of diarrhea. You can treat with Corid for coccidiosis and worm with a wormer. Check any of your other chickens, because flies can lay maggot eggs on any poopy butts in warm weather. It can help to treat for flies around your coop and run with permethrin spray from online or a feed or garden store.

I bathed her and got rid of all the maggots - I've tried feeding her, she's reluctant. She's had a tiny bit of water with ACV and that's it. She looks peaceful, but is not moving much. I have her in the sun in the garden just soaking up the quietude. Not sure if you have any other ideas?

I would keep working on her vent area, soaking if needed, and spraying with Vetericyn. How does it look—any pictures? Can you offer her some wet mash of chicken feed in a lot of water, some bits of egg or tuna? A cereal bowl is good to use up to her beak. Canned cat food is also good to coax eating. Get her drinking.
