Severe pasty butt

For a chick, I don't believe so.
I've heard of using honey to shrink the tissue, but I'd need an expert that I tagged above to verify that.
The problem with the prolapse is it swells and doesn't want to fit back in.
Ok, I’ll wait on that then. I know magnesium soaks help constipation in people, but I don’t want to chill her either

Do try to keep it moist.
I saw Azygous's post on your other thread - good info there.

Update!

Of the 6 chicks, we only lost the tiny silkie that first night. They’ve been at the chickie spa for a week now and I’m hoping I have less anxiety about seeing them in the morning soon. One OEGB needs washing fairly often still, but even the prolapsed chick seems to be fairly recovered. Hoping as she fluffs out from the creams, it will look normal. There’s no pink tissue, so I’m letting her be. I wish they could be house chickens forever 😅

That's great!

What do you use for the oil?
Coconut oil. I smear it on with my hand, use a warm, wet paper towel or washcloth to wipe as much as I can off, and repeat. After a few minutes most of the crusted on poo slides down their bum feathers. Then I try to get as much off as I can with a dry washcloth or towel. If they are very wet you could use a hairdryer on low to dry them but I get chicks in the summer so they dry pretty fast & don’t get a chill as quick.
