The following photos are of a friend's two five week old Easter Eggers (sold as americaunas of course!). As you can see, one is significantly smaller and underdeveloped (looks to be only maybe 1-2 weeks old). It's activity level is pretty normal, doesn't seem to be ailing, but we noticed today that it seems to have a bit of clear fluid that it spits up or "bubbles" out of it's beak. Beak has a little "hook" at the end. Seems to be eating and is not being picked on by the other 6 chicks that were purchased at the same time. In fact I saw it sleeping on another's back while I was there! Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong with it...syndromes, genetic flaw...etc? Thanks. Vickery
It's same age peer.
