Wow - that was pretty brave and amazing she is so perky! I would keep it covered with a non woven dressing (you cna get ones that are soaked with various ointments for healing etc as well). Moist wounds heal better than dry wounds.

Oh man, did you sew it up? I can't imagine that leaving it exposed will be healthy, our insides are not meant to be exposed to the outside. D: Is there no vet you could take her to in order to get an opinion?

So I decided to trim the exposed bone off. Will take pictures at the next bandage change.
