I had to go back to my picture file. Lol
I sold her at about 3 months old. She was just a few weeks old when it happened. (I think a mouse got in the broody box with them, only conclusion I ever came up with). And since she only lost part of the wing, she didn't have much trouble at all. She could still jump up on the roost pole, and on perch branches in the run.

Thanks for finding those! Looks like our girls had very similar injuries.
 
So I decided to trim the exposed bone off. Will take pictures at the next bandage change.
How did you remove the bone? I have a duck with a compound broken humerus sticking out. I think it needs to come off just to keep a wind from dragging and at least try to stave off infection. He doesn't seem to mind the broken wing at all. Did you subdue the bird at all before the surgeries?
