I'll stick with the permethrin. It works and there is no egg withdrawal period. I haven't had any ill effects and my birds are good too. It got rid of a severe infestation. If I hadn't treated my birds when I did I may have lost some. It doesn't work in a single application and does not kill the mite eggs so repeated weekly treatments are essential for about a month. If you have a TSC you can get the concentrate, premixed in a sprayer and the dust. Good luck...
