Sevin Dust on your chickens?

Where do you buy sevin dust from? My buff has mites for the first time and she's
Pale and a little out of it.

I was wondering where I buy sevin dust from?
I have a poultry protector Spray but my girl is already infested with mites. She is pale and a little out of it.
I want something that will work quick so she can get to feeling better! Help! :(

Home Depot, Walmart or any farm or garden store.

Treating as soon as we get closer to 30* this week. Can't hose out the coop this time of year, but I can clear it, dust it, and refresh it!

Birds too! we'll just have a spa day!

So I'm new to this dusting thing. From what I read Sevin dust is ok for chickens and things their feet land on. You dust those as well. Do you dust the walls and ceiling . If so how do you dust a ceiling?

One summer I didn't buy Frontline flea and tick prevention for my big dogs as usual, instead I put a teaspoon of minced garlic in their food and filled a sock with Sevin dust and patted it into the underside of their fur. They had no fleas or ticks. For my little dog I gave 1/2 tsp of garlic. I know you can pat horses down with Sevin also.

We are dealing with what I think is a mite issue. I can barely see the tiniest little moving white specks on my chickens. We treated them with sevin 5% on Saturday, but I'm still seeing a lot of bugs. We dusted under wings and the vents, as well as in coops and nests. Do we have to wait 7-10 days before treating again?

Fill a sock with Sevin, tie a knot in the neck, then use it to pounce Sevin all over your wood where the mites hide and breed. Then paint all your wood with old fashioned whitewash made from caustic lime, not the ag lime or barn lime; it has to be the kind of lime that burns.
