Sevin dust?

I would go with permethrin 10 concentrate that is mixed with water 37 ml per gallon. It is inexpensive—$7 a pint at TSC, and it makes many gallons for use in a spay bottle for treating chickens, or in a garden sprayer when treating a coop, roosts, and nests. Sevin or carbaryl is no longer approved for poultry and has been losing it’s effectiveness.

I was just told that Sevin Dust has a "Lifetime Egg Withdrawal." I've been using it in my coop & have sprinkled it on a couple of our hens -- so now their eggs aren't safe to eat? I was told to use it because others said their vets suggested it ??!! I am buying the Permetrin soon though, instead of using the Sevin Dust. I use DE in their outdoors dust bath area too.
