I know I am beating a dead horse here, but I'm a newbie! I'm ready to do the deed (and by that I mean dust my boy) when I get off work today, he has mites. I bought Seven-5 dust (5% carbaryl) to dust him. There seems to be some controversy about whether to use this or pyrethrin? Any reccomendations or experiences? Also, can anyone share some good techniques?

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!

Ok... Mods- you can delete this! I went ahead and exchanged the Sevin for Pyrethrin Poultry Dust... just to be safe. I put it in an old knee-high and went for it! I may have went a bit overboard and now I am a wee bit concerned, as my roo immediatly began preening as soon as I set him down. I hope he didn't eat too much of it! I just want to thank everyone for their patients with my "overly-concerned mom" posts! Thanks all!
