He's beautiful!!! I recently had to take my boyfriend Zorro to the farm. His crowing bothered my weekend boyfriend!Wow - I am having so much fun catching up on this thread after my marathon month of 14 hour work days - finally done with the project and I can't wait for Sunday!!! Karen, I will pm you with some questions but will bring a folding table in case it is needed, and will pick up ice when I get close. I have a ton of birds available but haven't thought through the keepers well enough to put together a thoughtful list. Here are some birds that I know are available - pm me if you have any interest:
2 pairs of dwarf olandsk - 10-12 weeks old
1 pair of black mottled japanese bantams - 9 weeks old
3 black mottled japanese bantams - straight run (but looking very much like pullets) - 7 weeks old
blue english orpington cockerel - hatched from Just Struttin' Farm's breeding - 13 weeks old
project polish - crele laced (some don't like me using that description but it is the most accurate description I have!) - Just Struttin' Farm's breeding - 10 - 16 weeks old
project bantam cochins - from confetti and blue confetti projects - wide range of colors and patterns - 6 - 12 weeks old
I am also planning to rehome my gorgeous calico crele polish rooster Hodgepodge. I absolutely love him, but need to cut down and he is just so loud - I try to keep the noise level down a bit so my neighbors can enjoy peaceful weekends, but it is tough with so many boys. I am going to cull a lot, but can't bear to cull him. Here is a picture of him from a few months ago - he is gorgeous, and gentle, and friendly, and makes me want to have a house in the country so that I can have 100 roosters just like him!

Oh my gosh Debbie, Zorro is absolutely gorgeous! Wow the pita pints have turned out to be just beautiful. When I get that house in the country I will add a huge breeding pen for pita pintas! Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. My list of available birds is not as long and impressive as Papa's or Dyann's. I do have a wide range of ages available, though! Almost all of the mix chicks have Zorro for a daddy. I do have a few mix chicks from the farm and their daddy would be one of my Langshan roos in the field. IM me if interested! Karen and Jules are both getting Pita Pintas to breed which I am thrilled about. That will make 6 of us that I know of that have or will have breeding flocks of these amazing birds!![]()
