do you know where your trio came from? They may have the resessive lavendar gene, making your chick a coronation sussex, if you talking about what I think you are.I hatched out 3 light Sussex all three from same hen and rooster 1 of witch has grey instead of black is this rare or desirable,I believe it will be a rooster

no. all of the chicks coming from your partridge EE crossed with Black australorps will give you black chicks..none autosexable at hatchI want to make some EE with interesting color, so I have a few EE hens with partridge coloring, and i have a black australorp rooster, wil this cross give me sex linked chicks????
