Sex- linked Information

Pics
I got them with a batch of BPR, when the started feathering out, I quickly noticed they were different. It took about 2 weeks of being shoved on the back burner for them to yell me they were (top) Welsummer and (bottom) Black Copper Marans. Welsummers can't be completely black chicks. They've been VERY rude since I pointed that out. Can't get them to answer back now. I know mistakes happen, I wasn't complaining or asking for money back or trades. I'd just really like to know what breed they are. Both birds are awesome, no matter what breed!

Quote: I love that answer! More people should do that before they start to ask silly questions. Like someone said here back a couple months ago, if you can't or don't understand the original post then you most likely won't understand any of the answers given.

I reread that first post about 10times-- and I studied breeding at univerisity. There is a huge amt of infor to digest in that first post. ANd it still cannot cover all.

It is also an overwhelming amt of info for a beginner. NO question should be poo-poo'd.

one of my very first post on BYC (if not the first post) was about this "guy".
My question was is it a roo or hen?
I was told he was a Red Sex Link hen. That father was a RIR and mother a "white chicken". Well this she turned into a he!!!! This post has answered WHY...The white chicken!!!
Thanks for answering and explaining this mystery we had

We were so confused as to why this happened...
