I have Never seen a chic colored like that, but it looks like a Male to me, the comb is well defined

I'm working on getting parent stock for this as we speak

It's pretty easy, any splash rooster over any barred black hen will make blue sex link hens. I'm surprised there aren't more Marans blue sex links, it would be an easy breed to find both splash and barred (cuckoo).

I think that I am going to focus on breeding mostly sex links I have Delawares, New Hampshires, Dorkings, Barred Rocks and California Greys so lots of potential there.

Aren't isbars barred? The rooster has to be non-barred for a black-type (barred) sex link to work.

I am making blue/black sex links with a blue rooster over barred hens. Sold my splash rooster today. I figured some of each color would maybe satisfy more customers. These are EE or Ameraucana project birds.
