My golden laced Wyandotte was SUPPOSE to be a girl (feed store told me they only order pullets) but I'm second guessing it.
Obviously my silkie was straight run but I really want it to be a hen lol.
Silkie is about 10 weeks and I think the Wyandotte is just a bit younger (8-10 weeks)

Hi there, hope you are enjoying BYC! :frow

The Wyandotte still appears to be a pullet. :)

Silkie isn't showing any give away's... without knowing the line and seeing behavior, no accurate guess... Post another pic of the comb as is and one with the crest pulled back if ya can. :pop

Wyandottes get their comb early and have sex specific patterning. The even lacing and coloring throughout the body and wings says Pullet.
I agree with the lacing and such, but the comb.... My GLW had a small orange comb until she was about 16 or 17 weeks. I wish I had pics, but my emphasis on the small... That one is really wide and already getting reddish.
