Sex of EE and french cuckoo marans

Hello all,

I have the following two chicks and was wondering if someone could help or confirm the sex of the
White EE and the french cuckoo marans. They are about 24 - 30 weeks old. Do they look that age? and do they look like a hen or a roo. No crowing and no eggs so far. I know I can have a little longer for them to lay eggs.

In your experience is it typical for a female to mount another female? I've seen our silkie once or twice get on a hen that was a new comer to show her dominance. The EE and the French Cuckoo Marans came from the same place and are about the same age. Said to be pullets. A few days ago the EE and the Cuckoo Marans were puffing their chests out at echother and puffing their feathers out... Today I witnessed the Marans pulling the EE's head back and getting on it's back.
We were then confused as to if they were just showing dominance to establish their place or because one or both are males.
