Millie Fleur d'Uccles males are a little different pattern which helps in sexing them. Also a cockerel this age would be starting to show male specific saddle feathers.

Yay!! She is still my Millie! I got another female thinking she was a male LOL Might need to consider getting the male if I want babies.
They are beautiful! Millie's comb has never been bright red but it is bigger than the full grown female I just got.View attachment 1516896 this is my pulletView attachment 1516897this is my cockerel. His comb was bright red almost from day one.
In comparison I'm thinking pullet on yours but an age would help.
Agree! Looks like "pink" to me, too. I don't know where you are, but if you're near Maryland and need a roo, I have a nice young Porcelain D-Uccles pair (male & female) available. I also have a little porcelain booted bantam (D'Uccles, minus the beard & muffs) who is part of that group - all three could go ...
In all my years of raising chickens I've had more hens show aggression towards me than roosters...especially broody henssomewhat aggressive behavior
Thank you. I know when I got her the young gal said she was definitely a female due to the males already having a lot of red in their combs, but I started having doubts due to her behaviors. I guess she is just a pint sized bully.Millie Fleur d'Uccles males are a little different pattern which helps in sexing them. Wow. My girls have all been good other than this little pistol. My boys, on the other hand, not so much. I had one I had to rehome due to aggression toward everyone and everything, two that were excellent but taken by a fox, and a male polish right now who is fine with me and my granddaughter, but will get very aggressive with men.In all my years of raising chickens I've had more hens show aggression towards me than roosters...especially broody hens
Lucky you. Most of my roos are the best of birds. In 10+ years of raising chickens I've only been attacked once by a rooster and over 30 times by broody hensWow.
