So as my geese get older I am thinking more and more that I have two boys and one girl. We thought we were purchasing 2 girls and 1 boy but they look completely different!

These are he two that I think are male, they look pretty much alike.

I just realized this is the only picture I have of her....she is the one in the back I know you can not see her really well. But she has practically no knob and a thick white ring around her nose. I will try and get a better picture tonight.

But any thoughts would be great.

Well I measured them this weekend and they are all the same height lol

I want to measure mine to see how tall they are, but they wont stand still! As they get older, the males are visually larger than the females, they also walk different, I've noticed. My goose takes longer strides, and my gander does this little marching / stomping thing when he walks, almost like he's strutting - and he bows his head, my mom said it looks like a candy cane, without the stripes. How old are your geese?

Usually males are larger and with a bolder head and larger beak knob. Our youngsters from this year show a distinct difference. You've probably got 2 males and 1 female. Ill try to find a pic for you tomorrow.

IN FOREGROUND A 2012 GANDER AND HIS SISTER TO LEFT.
IN BACKGROUND THE PARENT AND GANDER LEFT, GOOSE RIGHT.
