I have these two black Ameraucanas and I know that one of the two are either male or female, but just don't know which lol. The first two photos shown are what im suspecting to be the female and the last one male. I thought him to be the male since he has greenish bluish shine to his feathers but also read that females have it too.

Greenish blue feather shine will happen in any black chicken regardless of gender.

What makes you think you have a male? Have you heard crowing?

Because these are pure black, I'd need better pictures (good lighting) showing hackle feathers and combs to determine sex. Maybe others can tell with these photos?
I think one is a rooster because one of their tails is longer than the other. Usually females have different tail shape than males but i also never raised ameraucanas before

That doesn't mean anything in birds so young, several of my ameraucana based easter egger pullets had very long tails at that age

That said, the pink comb is making me suspicious but I'd give it some more time before making any decisions

I also wanted to add that one of my chicks have been doing that thing where they squat and spread out their wings i wondered if that means anything. I had a few chicks do that at a week old so idk if thats a female thing
