Can anyone tell if this is a hen or a rooster? The feathers on its neck nearest the comb and wattle are spreading down the neck and are a ‘greasy’ glossy black. I’ve heard that cochin mature more slowly and one of our ISA Browns turned out to be a dominant rooster so maybe this is a less dominant male. You can see it by our rooster in the second image.
He’s so pretty but guess I’ll start thinking about re-homing and renaming him. Thank you for the advice/info.
