What age, it makes a difference. However, from my experience I'm going with hen. The roos had obvious combs and thick legs early on.

Those are my mom's and they are 6 weeks old. My guess is pullet!!!

It'd be easier to tell if he/she were standing up...both my roos have a lot more white on their chest and also started grown a semi-circle of pinfeathers on each shoulder that none of the pullets have...I'm guess it's a pre-ruff.
