Hi guys
I’m wondering what gender my black Araucana x Wyandotte chick might be (second and 3rd photo)
First photo is most certainly a male (Wyandotte x) and I’m sure the last one is a girl (Wyandotte x barnevelder)

any guesses?
She/he feathered up really early but the comb is quite pinkish already - I really don’t know
3 weeks old in one photo and just over 5 in the other one (all black)

Can you explain why? I know araucanas are hard to sex but I have the same feeling based on the pink comb
But on the other hand he/she feathered up faster than all the others

A pullet's comb only gets red as she reaches sexual maturity, shortly before she starts laying. At 5 weeks old, the comb should practically be nonexistent. Instead, it's already starting to grow and get red, which is why I say cockerel.
Getting feathers early, in my experience, is not a good way to sex chicks. Both of my cockerels grew feathers very quickly.
