Sexing Barred Rocks

Pics
Based on all the info provided here, I am sure that our "Roque" is a rooster. He thinks that he's a parrot, jumps into my hand, climbs up my arm and sits on my shoulder (and does his "doody"). First to fly out of the pen and roost on the edge of it. He is lighter in color than his three cohorts, his tail feathers are short and stubby compared to the others. The feathering on his wings is more white than black. His legs are bright yellow, and his legs are thicker and his toes are much longer than the "girls" are. He tries to be the boss but gets henpecked when he tries to push around one of the bigger pullet chicks. He was the largest at first but the others have gained on him. Shame we have to give him up. Two of his companions are big wimps and scream like I'm about to send them to the Colonel when I try to handle them. Anyone near Chico, CA area want a lovely three week old Barred Rock Rooster? Can't eat him...won't kill him. Too much love invested at this point. Thanks.

chickmammy, do you have a closeup of each one you could post? It's difficult to keep them still for that long.

It took forever! Are your Rocks skittish? Because of my 3 breeds...they really are the most skittish and fearful of me. The hardest to photograph! The fly into the chicken coop walls and act very crazy. lol Here they are:

This is Anna- I can only tell her apart from the other one right now, because she has these furry puffs on her head that make her look a little "Jack Nicholson".

Elsa on left and Ann on right. See that patch on Anna that is missing? Do you know if that looks alright? She is the only one like that.

Thanks for helping me. If I had to guess I would say they are both girls.

I agree with you, chickmammy. They look likes pullets. Incredibly sweet too! I wish mine were still babies.
My barred rocks aren't skittish & I've read the breed, in general, isn't. However, I think it's something that varies between individuals.
I don't think the patch of missing feathers is anything to worry about unless you see more of it.
