Pics
Oh that's so great to hear! I don't see any whites on the wings yet, and from all that I've read on this thread, that's good for a girl. Thanks jasondgarza!

[/IMG] the picture with the white Olive egger is obviously a cockerel . I read some where that other cockerels are slower to grow. If they have a dominant cockerel . I'm not sure if this is true or not? Any info would be great. She looks like a hen acts. Like one too! Her tail is very hen like as well .

Boy is definitely a "he" lol. He started crowing at like 8 weeks (cutest little attempt of a crow)
He's 24 weeks in this pic, and HUGE. not sure he's a Barred Rock now though...

This one looks like it might be a black sexlink cockerel. A five week old pullet, would not be that red in the comb.

Here are a couple of pictures that should give you a great example of the difference between a Cockerel and a Pullet. Both of these beauties were born in April making them about 6 months old. It has been my experience that Cockerels have much more white and much brighter red comb and waddle. preschoolmama you do not have a Barred Rock Roo.. It looks to be a mix.

So i know my Welsummer is a rooster but can anyone tell me if these three BR are hens? they are almost 7 months and no eggs yet.

I apologize if i have posted this in the wrong area i am very knew to BYC
