Sexing Barred Rocks

Pics
So i know my Welsummer is a rooster but can anyone tell me if these three BR are hens? they are almost 7 months and no eggs yet.

I apologize if i have posted this in the wrong area i am very knew to BYC
They definitely look female. If you aren't getting any eggs in the nest box, you may try confining them to the coop/run for a few days. Most barred rocks are steady layers by 6 months.

Thank you so much! I will try that for a few weeks, Oh i have been using pine needles for bedding is this sufficient?

Please tell me this isn't a roo!

Hard to tell from those pics but to me based just on color I'd say pullet. My cockerels all had more white than black. I could be way off base though.

How old?

Do you have other BR to compare? That helps.

Here's a screen shot of the end of my post back in March. I had two that had the narrow barring (making it look like "more white") like the top pics.. The bottom pic ended up being the only pullet. See how her barring seems thicker
