Sexing- Buff Orphington Roo and Barred Rock Hen. I believe the top picture of the lighter color is a cockerel and the darker is a pullet.

If the father is a Buff Orpington, and the mother is a Barred Rock, the chicks are sexlinks. The sons have white barring (top photo) and the daughters do not have white barring (bottom picture.)
