sexing button quail????

Depends on what colors you have.... Most colors will have a red vent feathers if they are males. Silvers will have salmon pink feathers on the vents. Whites will not of course. Many of the colors have white bibbs on males. Blue faces and whites will not have bibs. You can try vent sexing but I just don't even both.

How old are they? Fully feathered? The males will have red vent feathers. Also, some will have the white bib. If they are white, males are usually more slender, other than that hard to tell.

That's not that uncommon. Quite a few people in my area have given up on them, because they never laid an egg. After I spoke to them, we figured out why.....

Really stinks, but there are many people that take advantage of someone who doesn't know what to look for.

Sounds like you have a set of boys. Though the bib is not a good way to sex them. The best way is the red vent also the males make a air sound that kinda sounds like wind through a crack

Where do you live? I have two young females. They are very beautiful. One is a black with a reddish tip color on the feathers and the other is a blueish gray color. They are hard to explain, but beautiful.

No don't get my wrong i'm not giving up on them.
Even though iv'e only had them since yesterday im in love with them.
They are the coolest little bird iv'e ever seen.
I am a little upset I have two males but I am defently getting females.
I live in Southern Ohio. About 45 minutes away from the bridge that crosses over in WV.

I do have one question though.

When I get females for the boys can I leave the boys in the cage together and put the females in there with them.
The cage in about 5 feet tall and 6-7 feet long. I was planing on getting 4 females.
2 for each boy.
Since i'm a begginer in raising quail I don't know a whole lot.
