At what age can you accurately sex your chickens? Mine are almost 2 weeks old is this to young to know. I've read so many things I'm not sure what to look for. Any ideas or tips?

What all should I watch with comb development. None of them are really raised and are yellow there no pink or redish tint to them like I have read. And I read it you hold hens on their backs they are calm and all mine do that.

:welcome Glad you joined us, we'd LOVE to see pictures :love As all have said your chicks are young and between the ages of 6 - 8wks is about the time chicks maybe easier to sex. Watching for comb/wattle development & color, knowing the breed sometimes helps and anytime older, the cockerels will start developing hackle & saddle feathering.
