Hi, I have four 2 week old coturnix quail chicks, and was wondering how soon can you feather sex them? I'm curious as to if I have male or females :) I can post pictures if I get any responses . Any help is appreciated!

Usually you can tell by three weeks. But this will depend on the color. For instance, if it is Tibetan or dilute you'll be able to tell. Some others you won't be able to tell until they are about 6 weeks, unless they crow sooner.

Thank you ! I'm still not sure who's who yet, but here are a few pictures if some people would be willing to take a look :)

My friend who helps raise them also made a post using the same photos, so if anyone sees it, that's why :) but here are the babies.

Not sure about Apple Jack. Looks like maybe a Rossetta coloring. You'll propably have to wait. The others look like females.
