Sexing Cuckoo Marans

I was researching Cuckoo Marans tonight and found out they can be sexed really young, Now I get to discover tomorrow how many roo's I have.

The lighter color chicks are roosters and the darker colored chicks are pullets.

Color can be tricky with some breeding lines. Look at the barring on the wing and it is normally a dead give away. Well defined wide barring = male.
 
Mine seem to vary...sometimes it's very evident early on...other times it takes a little longer to see who's who. Once they really start feathering out tho it becomes obvious pretty quickly.
