Sexing Day old Polish chicks

Heya, I’ve heard you can sex Polish chicks by their crest. Does anyone know if these are male or females based on their crest? I think they are both the same what ever they are

Crest only applies to Juveniles.

I've heard some people say they can tell Polish chicks apart at birth by the shape of the knobs on their heads that will later hold the crest feathers, but I am not sure whether it is true or not. Maybe someone will come along who can do it, but more likely you will have to wait until they are older.

It doesn't work when just randomly showing polish chicks but it does to some degree if you're picking from a box of them from the same line.
Years ago I heard it and tried with some chick days chicks. Like some other methods there's some that look one way, some that look the other and then some that are too close to call.
I picked the extremes and might have been 75% right so not super accurate but more of a hint.
I heard it was big puffs vs smaller puffs so of course with random chicks and a pic here and there it would probably just be the line they come from determining the size.
If that makes sense.

Yeah I’ve seen on the internet that people can but I’m not experienced enough to know, I could guess based on the internet but was hoping someone could confirm my suspicions
