Also, if they're all drakes, I'm going to be so sad. Downey deserves a mate, and if I have 3 drakes I can't exactly trade them in and try again next year and buy more.

Downey is definitely my sweet little drake. The calls are only 5 weeks, but I may indeed have the odd duck (appropriate, it's one of my nicknamesA female call duck will quack so loud it will hurt your ears, and it's a most definitive QUACK.

The above photo is hens. See the striped tail coverts? Your 3 all have a lace pattern. It is indicative of male. Now- there is an odd female with lace and the odd male with stripes, but typically this is the easiest way to tell. It also follows through with the wing coverts as they get older- you can also see that in the above photo.
