Thank you! She is the best dog ever! She has been great with adding chickens too. I haven’t turned my back or leg my guard down yet though. Makes me nervous but she has been fantastic so far.PS, and your dog is gorgeous!
We are first time chicken folks...I just hope two roosters in our flock will be okay. I may have a silkie roo too making it possibly threeI’ve seen so many posts about the green wash over the legs and feet but then the comb and just so much It would be my luck to have chosen two Roos. But we are already so attached.

She is a mini. A 14 lb mini. Sweetest thing I’ve ever seen! She is our first Aussie and I don’t wanna go back to life without this baby. Seriously. Best dog!Is your aussie a mini? My aussie used to chase my chickens, but here recently she has started to let them be and ignores them after she gets in a sniff or two. I kept her tied in the yard when the chickens were out until I was sure!
You can tell with the barring in barred rocks. Males have more barring and look whiter, females have less barring and look darker. It's pretty clear when you have one of each to compare. Anyway, that's how I knew they both were male. The last pic I posted is of chick number two. Here is number one...
