Sexing my polish crested

Hi

How old is your polish? From the crest you look to have a female there. Do you have a pic of the tail please? A side profile shot?

Age would help us be sure, but I'm thinking pullet.

This one is around 8 weeks old. I noticed it was trying to almost crow this morning so it made me very curious!

8 weeks is a tad early to tell for sure but I'm still thinking pullet because of the crest but the wattles at that age are making me think cockerel. But white crested black polish hens have quite pronounced wattles, are they very red?

I'm afraid to say with the bright red, pronounced wattles and that squeaky crow at 8 weeks that you have a cockerel there.
