Sexing Orp/Brahmas PICS added

okay, I'm back . The one with the feathered legs has the pinkest comb and GOLD feathers! Darn, I had a girl name all picked out. Now I have to think of a boy name.

Aw, bet he's a cutie!

Hey Cynthia, one has leg feathers, pink comb, and gold in the feathers. One is very light silver gray, and pink comb. The other 3 have yellow combs, not really looking like they have gotten bigger. One chick is almost black, but no pink comb.
Thanks for guessing. It's funny, the one with the feathered legs was my fav Orp/Brahma from the beginning. Always the one to notice me, watch what I'm doing; He might really like my buff orpington, Clarisse, when he grows up.

Cynthia, does the gold stay?

The gold will probably stay, but I dont have any of them myself and everyone who does, theirs aren't much older than yours. I think maybe Adam's are the oldest. We'll have to get him to post really recent pics of the girls vs the boys for us. Check out this thread-we thought this chick was a boy, but at three months, it's apparently a girl. See? No gold

I have one of yours that I swore was a girl, but HE has a few golden feathers and his comb is really pink. I'll try to post some pics. of the boys and girl tonight.

My two little roos I hatched from Cynthia had the gold in their feathers like their mom (which I might add my little guys were murdered by the neighbors cat the other day!). My 4 girls from Suede and Caroline are either solid blue or black and look very much like an orpington.
