Hey, we have 2 young (15 weeks old) Indian Runners that we hatched under our chickens. We think one is a male, but that is only because of the quack all other visual signs match the other young runner who is more silent. Like I said I don't see any visual ques IE curl tail (Drake dad had it), the color difference from the females, nor is the possible drake reasonable taller than the male. Now both the Dad and Mom look so different from when they were young it is hard to remember how they looked. I will go take a photo as well.

Also they are about to be of laying age and they have been living with chickens this entire time. I believe one has laid yesterday (in a nesting box! and i can assume that if I see 2 being laid in a day I will get my answer.

The one that quacks and is loud would be the hen. A drake is much quieter without a quack. instead they sound like a softer rasp, hiss,or creaking sound. Odd that it doesn't have the curl, but it will...eventually if it's a drake.

Loud-hen, quiet-drake.
hmm my wife is telling me the same. So must be the quiet one that is what she is referring to. I feel like our older Drake is quiet loud he likes to run the show.

Hi - I have Runners and the loudmouths are definitely the girls. 😁 The drake feather seems to take a while to come in on Runners...my drakes get them, but it seems like it's not until they're at least 6+ months old. Voice sexing is the most reliable (non-invasive) way I've found to do it.
