Sexing Peachicks - India Blues

Well I have been slow but here are more pics of the kids....

Big ol Sheldon is coping with life without his buddies, luckily the kids are next door so he still knows hes not completely alone! He does however make enough noise so we know he's not impressed. He's getting greener by the day and is quite a handsome bird... except the fact his little crown is slanted sharply to the side!

Peyton and Penelope...
These two love shavings... everyday they bury themselves, climb the pile, fly off the pile, you name it theyll do it!

Peyton

Penelope!

And the twosome:
Peyton (left) & Penelope (right)

This was difficult but i tried... Again Peyton is left (top wing) and Penelope is right (bottom wing)

Looks like all boys at this point, very healthy looking, you are doing good with them.
Thank! I do adore them. Everything I learned about taking care of these guys was on here so I'm pretty excited we've made it to 11 and 5 wks old! YAY!!! I still holding on out on Penelope... really hoping she's really a girl. In person she's darker then the other, way small, and the barring doesn't really pop out like Peyton's. With my luck... she's just a currently confused boy. so that would make 5 boys for me. I know I said if I had children I'd want them to all be boys, so I'm guessing thats what I'm getting!

i wouldnt count either of the youngest 2 out yet .
they both look as tho they could be females to me.
my youngest batch i had 3 blues that looked the same up until almost 3 months.
then suddenly 1 of them got a few plain feathers in nothing else for weeks (prolly 2-3 weeks). so we sold the other 2 and kept her to see.
now 2 weeks after selling those boys she is very clearly loosing her barring finally
so don't give up just yet.

I agree that is why i said at this point because there is still alot of barring.

Haha love the debate on here.
Darling Sheldon is definetly all boy. He's quite noisy and has more barring then a jail. But he's still at the giant chicken stage, not brave at all.
The others... in person look very different, in pictures look almost the same. It may be with the flash it picks up what barring is on Penelope. I'm not tying a pink or blue ribbon around these guys any time soon. So it's fun to post my cuties for debate and pea lessons!

Little Roughian, in your post #62 above, your 4th pic directly under the name of Penelope shows the barring on her side is not distinct anymore. And the first pic of Peyton and Penelope together you can still see tons of barring on Peytons outermost part of the wing feathers.More than on Penelopes. But then the pic under that with both having outstrectched wings Penelope still has barring much more noticable. You will need to keep the pics coming as they keep growing for sure.
