One of my peachicks had little swelled up bumps on both sides of his face right under his beak. Any ideas? Hes still eating and acts fine

There have been a few cases like this mentioned in the last week or so, it is most likely pox, they get them from biting flies and mosquito's, they will run their course it takes about 3 weeks to heal most of the time, just leave them alone, if they become so bad that the bird can't see or eat, then it is wet pox but that is pretty rare around my place anyhow it is treatable if it is, try not to worry it will pass.

they can get this even with them being inside?
it just popped up outa the blue lastnight everyone was fine and its only on 1 chick.
but he seems quite perky and is still eating.
i guess all i can do is keep a close eye on him .

It only takes one bite to cause it so yes it is possible.
I brooded some baby chicks inside for a few days cause there were over 250 of them and someone was comming to get them all, i did not want to have to catch and move them but one more time so inside they stayed, there were a couple flies in with them and a few came down with pox.

Dip in's little beek in a spoon of sugar water about every 30 minutes and that may help perk it up,
