we drove and got 2 chicks. they look the same.
i seen the parents.
a silver pied male and a regular pied hen.
so i was told they would be dark pied (by the BYC community) rather than silver pied which is what they were sold as.

Pretty! I think it's looking like Piper is going to be a girl- you can see the barring starting to disappear from her feathers. The "mystery" chick looks like it could be purple maybe?

Hmmm from what i know the parentd at ib dplit to bs. They also must br split to pied bcuz i got a pied chick from them,
Do you have pics of a purple as adults?

I agree to both statements, the "mystery" chick looks like a purple - too light for an IB and too dark for a cameo!

im very happy with both statements =)
just gives me even more color to my flock.
and tells me i have a pair already so i will have 1 beautiful male who will stay .
who else stays depends on the sex/ colors of them.

still on my list for this year is a cameo chick, a java, and a pied.
and if i could be so lucky as to find one local a black sholder. but thats a long shot.
the other 3 i have breeders lined up just waiting on them to hatch!
