We have been looking to buy some polish pullets for awhile but the only ones we could find were being sold unsexed. Can anyone give any advice as whether these are pullets or Roos.

The next one is a frizzle. We do have two more but I do not have pictures yet.

This one is called MineMe due the similarities of our hair styles in this picture!

From what Ive read and heard. The females have a more round and full "top hat" where as the males will be more of a mohawk looking and not as full or round. Out of the pictures Id say only the 3rd one (black w/ Mohawk) is a cock everything else is a hen. Buutttttt I wouldn't bet my life on it. Ha

Thank you.

I have also been reading about it and apparently the area at the top of the beak where it meets the head is redder in the Roos but I'm not sure when that starts to happen.

I did wonder about Teddy, picture no. 3, but that area is black for him/ her so doesn't give any indication.

It would be shame if he turned out to be a roo as he is black and gold.

I think he might be younger as the chicks ranged from 1 to 12 weeks.

He is a lot smaller than the others so i would guess that he is a couple of weeks behind and the frizzle is probably at least a week older than the the black, white and chamois.

He has been chest butting the black one however my Perkin hens did that when they were small.
