What did you do in the garden today?

Brought in 3/4 of a bushel of tomatoes in various stages of ripeness. I'll put them on the counter to finish. I figure this lets the plant put energy into the rest of the tomatoes and the flowers still on there.
And, you'll keep them safe from any pests. :thumbsup
I only use pure clear Aloe vera now. After the detox time, no matter how much I sweat I don't stink.
Can you tell us more about this? Do you apply the aloe vera? How do you do a detox?
Don't feel bad- i got scammed din tomato seeds this year. Supposed to be determinate paste tomatoes. They were all cherry tomatoes.
My neighbor bought tomato plants and said that a bunch of them are cherry tomatoes, not canning tomatoes. She said the same thing happened last year. :(

Believe you me honey I would happily take it 💗. It's so disgusting living in the state of California. I really wish my mom would have just stayed in North Carolina to raise me. I would happily take the hurricanes and humidity versus the 🤢 heat in California.
I feel you. I was raised in Oklahoma until I was 9. Then got transplanted to California. I miss summer and fall rain.

It's amazing that it gets so hot and dry. My micro climate puts us about 6 degrees above the forecast on average, but at least we aren't in the valley like you are.

There are much nicer locations to live in Cali, just FYI. 🤣 Not that it's affordable to move to those places, but they exist! I live close enough to the coast that we can go visit when it's hot, not that we do... But we could. On the other side of the grade, in San Luis Obispo, the temp is usually 15+ degrees cooler in the summer and 5+ degrees warmer in the winter. It's a 20 minute drive.

I use a dime size amount for each underarm, I rub it in and then allow it to air dry before putting on clothes. It's important to do that or it just transfers to your clothes.
I thought it would be a hassle but it's just a routine now, and you save tons of money depending on your deodorant. My sons' natural deodorant costs $12 a stick.
Detox is just letting your body naturally rid itself of the toxins in antiperspirant and deodorant. If you use antiperspirant, then switch to a deodorant for a month before switching to Aloe. Detox time you will be stinky but if you can suffer through, I think it's worth it.
It does make you wonder about the stuff in antiperspirant and deodorants, that you need to detox from the stuff. 🤔

The only thing deodorant does for me is allow me to smell ok when sweating. I'm going to try to find the aloe

Trying to figure materials for a project at the cabin. DW got involved and muddied the water. She is good with numbers but has no clue how to figure materials. Frustrated. :barnie
