Sexing silkies

Here is my 10 week old...no guess on mine either, I see no comb, so I am going with pullet...

very pretty. i really hope i get some hens. i can not have roosters (or hens really...) i have 8 and i want to keep all of them...

I'm thinking all male as well, but at only eight weeks old I could be wrong.

I don't think even the birds know for sure until they're six months along.

My guess is all roos.. the comb area looks fairly wide and the crest area seems to be fairly slicked back!

when do Silky roos start to crow? I believe I have one, but am a first timer.

Ours was 3 months old and it started out fairly quiet but then got louder we had to sell him but here's a pic when he was younger, I think from early on their tails are higher.

We r going to show my silkie at the county fair, but aren't sure if it's a he or she; I know it's not SOP; it has some red wattles, I read that is a DQ so we shall see.
