sexing speckled sussex

I'm watching this with much interest. I have a 4wk old SS from MYC that is sexed as female, but she looks so much bigger and has a bigger comb than the other breeds I got. Still have fingers crossed that she is a little girl.

crzychickenlady, what age is your Dottie in the garden photo (4 & 5), and what age in the house with the large comb and waddle (6 & 7)?

This is my SS at 10 weeks and SHE crowed this morning...

No one (at least in this thread) have mentioned the blacker feathers around the neck. What does that indicate of sex?

My younger SS is 12 weeks (or so, don't know for sure). Note the blacker feathers at the base of the neck:

The older one is 20 weeks (or so again not sure). No blacker feathers, smaller comb.

Not a great picture, but they seem different, so I'm guessing one of each, but which one is which??

I have two SS and I'm fairly certain I have one of each. They are the same age.
This one I think is a boy.

And this one I think is the hen. I'm going strictly by the wattle and combs here.

If I remember, I'll post pics again when they are way older and I know for sure.
