I just went back and took a closer look at the Fav and DIED. She's got a "Really human?" look on her face with that downturned beak.

Yes, that should work.
They would breed true for the autosexing feather color, but the egg colors would be all kinds of mixes in future generations (white, brown, blue, green). That could actually be quite fun, and make it easy to keep track of how many eggs are laid by which hens!

She is a proper judge of character, but also sooooooooo friendly. By far the friendliest with me.
