I am so happy to have found this thread. I have some chicks that I finally have identified them based on someones picture of their sex link on here. Thanks for posting pictures for people like me who are trying to identify their chick(s).
hey guys. i am happy to have found this thread. i have ordered some hens from a guy that should be about egg laying age in the spring when i pick them up. i wanted rirs but after talking to the guy i am now going to buy 4 bsl along with 4 white leghorns and 2 ee. i cant wait to get them home. so do bsl or any of the other breeds i am getting lay in the winter?
Does anyone have any information on using skin color as a sex link determiner in naked neck chickens. I crossed a black skinned roo to a white skinned hen. Two look to have black skin and two look to have white skin. I am guessing the black skin are pullets and the white cockerels.
